The Department of English has completed around four decades of dedicated service to the cause of teaching to the downtrodden students and research in English language and literature.

The Department has a renowned galaxy of teachers. Currently two faculty members are working in the Department. The department of English is as old as the college; i.e.1988 Strengthened with two lecturers.
