Department of Botany Vision & Mission

 VISION:-

• To Empower the students with the Knowledge and Skills of Botany and other applied fields like Biotechnology in tune with the changing global scenario for pursuing Research or procuring employment in the allied areas and to make the department as the centre of excellence.
•  To Expose themselves to the diversity among life forms
• To make aware of natural resources and environment and the importance of conversing it.
• To develop the ability for the application of acquired knowledge in the fields of life so as to make our country self-reliant and self- sufficient

MISSION:-

•  Introduction of  restructured programs as per the needs of the demand .
• Usage of ICT and student centric methods in teaching learning process
•  Inculcation of  research attitude in the students by assigning  “study Projects
•  To Prepare  the students to participate  and present papers in district/state/national seminars.
•  Up gradation of  the Lab equipment and learning resources in  accordance with the curriculum.
•  Conduction of  certificate Skill-oriented courses to develop  students as Entrepreneurs.
